In order to provide manufacturers of devices in the UI, MAC addresses of devices that connect are sent via an API request to vilfo.com. This information is in no way logged, stored or analyzed. It is possible to disable manufacturer lookup in Vilfo by going to the General page.
In order to provide external IP addresses for connected groups, an API request is sent to vilfo.com. This information is in no way logged, stored or analyzed.
Vilfo does log license code information to ensure that a valid license code is used. IP address and email address used is also stored to prevent potential abuse and troubleshooting assistance.
Vilfo uses third parties to deliver the service. Customer support is provided via Intercom. Name, email address, license key and version is shared with Intercom in order to provide support.
Google Analytics is included in the user interface (UI), so we can measure which features are most widely used — and which are not. This information is then solely accessible to employees of Vilfo AB to further develop and improve the UI.
Sentry is included in order to send automatic error reports if something doesn't work properly on a Vilfo unit. This information is then solely accessible to employees of Vilfo AB to further develop and improve the UI.
It's possible to disable the Intercom & Google Analytics in Vilfo by going to the General page.
Shipping details for orders are sent to the fullfilment center used to ship the unit, and then to a carrier (such as DHL, Fedex, Postnord). Payments are done via Stripe, PayPal or Klarna. Depending on the payment method, the shipping and payment details will be given to the payment provider to be able to dispute potential chargebacks.
